About

Rick Jacques is an American Artist born in Palm Beach County, Florida.  

Based in New York, Rick works as an independant Director and Photographer through his production company Lucky Lefty, founded in January 2017. The studio specializes in Video Production, Photography, and various forms of content creation for international clients and brands on location around the globe.

A few notable projects from 2018 include: directing a social media campaign for Nike to promote a retro Air Max release, documenting a rafting expedition down the Snake River, and a thirty second commercial titled “Twenty Mile Bend” filmed in the Everglades of South Florida. 

Lucky Lefty is in development of the film ‘High Seas’, of which Rick is credited writer and director.  Rick’s first solo photography exhibition, ‘Sun Worshiping’, featured 20 analog photographs on display at Tribeca’s One Art Space Gallery in October of 2017.

Prior to founding his studio, Rick’s career began working as an Art Director and Photographer for advertising agencies: R/GA, Anomaly, and Wieden + Kennedy, serving clients such as Converse, Google, Nike, Verizon, and Southern Comfort.

Beyond his expertise in the visual arts, Rick enjoys cycling, playing music, snorkeling, cooking and traveling to new places with his wife, Ivy.
